Vedic pandits should spread knowledge to humans: Sastrigal

Srirangam, Aug 28 (UNI) Renowned religious sanskrit orator V Radhakrishna Sastrigal has called upon vedic pandits and scholars to spread the knowledge acquired from 'gurus' to humans to follow the path of dharma and lead an ethical life.

Participating at a function held at the Sringeri Sankara math here yesterday, he observed that the math was not just a monestry in the ordinary sense but is predominently known as a ''sankara kshetra' of the nation.

Chief Executive Officer and Administrator of Sri Sharadha Peetam, Sringeri, dedicated the veda padasala built at a cost of Rs 25 lakh.
