Vardanthi celebrations of Veturi Prabakar Sasthri from tomorrow

Tirupati, Aug 28 (UNI) The two-day 57th Vardanthi celebrations of Veturi Prabakar Sasthri, who brought Annamaya's Vagamayem into the limelight, would commence in the temple town tomorrow, TTD EO K V Ramanachari said here today.

Addressing a press conference here he said the SEVTA and TTD had decided to conduct the Sasthri and Vardanthi celebrations every year, in the future.

TTD was contemplating to bring the Sasthri's manuscripts, which were yet to be publicized, into the limelight, he said.

During the two-day event cultural programmes and interaction section between permanent scholars from across the state would be held, he added.
