Sonia to launch Indiramma housing scheme-2 on Sept 1

Hyderabad, Aug 28 (UNI) Congress President Sonia Gandhi will visit Andhra Pradesh to launch the second phase of the Indiramma housing programmes on September 1.

As per the tentative schedule, Ms Gandhi would arrive Rajahmundry in East Godavari district in the morning, APCC President K Keshava Rao told reporters at party headquarters, here today.

After attending a reception hosted by party leaders, she would proceed to the satellite Township on the outskirts of Rajahmundry to inaugurate Rajiv Gruhakalpa.

Later, at Thumuluru village in Guntur district, Ms gandhi would launch the second phase of Indiramma housing programme and attend a grama sabha. She would also address a public gathering.

The party chief would also attend a meeting of women Self Help Groups (SHGs) at Eluru in West Godavari district in the evening, before leaving for Delhi.
