Rajvogini Dadi Janki becomes ''Brahma Kumaris'' Chief
Mount Abu, Aug 28 (UNI) Rajyogi Dadi Janki today took over as the Global Head of the Brahma Kumaris institution.
Her elevation follows the death of Rajyogini Dadi Dr Prakashmani who was the Chief of the institution for the last four decades.
Other changes in institution's administrative hierarchy include the elevation of Rajyogini Dadi Mohini, the Joint Chief and Ratanmohini, Director of Teachers' Training, to the position and posts of Addditional and Joint Administrative Heads, respectively.
Dadi Janki was born in a religious family in Hyderabad in 1916.
She joined the movement in 1937. She has served in London and 129 countries. She was elevated to the position of institution's Additional and Overseas Chief.
Under her leadership, the institution bacame an NGO in the DPI of the United Nations having consultative status with the UN's Economic&Social Council and UNI
