Bangalore, Aug 28 (UNI) Karnataka Human Rights Commission (KHRC) Chairman S R Naik today expressed his helplessness over the delay by the state government to provide him a suitable office for functioning of the Commission even after a month of his appointment.

''You ask this question to the state government why it had so far not provided the office for the Commission,'' Justice Naik said at an interaction during a workshop for journalists here today.

Justice Naik was appointed the first Chairman of the Human Rights Commission set up by the state government to deal with violation of human rights issues in the state.

Presently the Commission works from Vidhan Soudha, the state secretariat.
