Mantri, Raheja to set up IT parks near Nagpur

Nagpur, Aug 28: The Mantri Group and K Raheja Universal of Mumbai will set up information technology (IT) parks in the five-star industrial estate at Butibori near here.

The Mantri Group had been allotted 45 acres while K Raheja Universal got 40 acres in the zone marked for the IT sector, according to an official release here.

The two firms will develop workspace and plots of land along with all the necessary facilities in the areas allotted to them, the release stated.

The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) had submitted a proposal to the State Government to create an IT zone on 200 hectares of land in Butibori industrial estate, about 30 kilometers from here.

The IT zone was proposed to be developed through public-private participation, the release added.
