Lara's killers won't be spared: Meena Mandal

Chandigarh, Aug 28 (UNI) Haryana Minister of State for Cooperation Meena Mandal today said that those involved in the murder of dalit leader Rakesh Lara at Gohana would not be spared.

In a statement issued here, Ms Meena Mandal criticised those who were trying to grind their own axe for political mileage on this issue and cautioned the people against their ill designs.

She urged the members belonging to Balmiki community not to be misled by such elements and give their wholehearted cooperation to the administration in maintaining peace and harmony.

She said the Chief Minister had only two days ago announced developmental schemes involving an investment of Rs 144 crore for Gohana and it appeared that the success of this huge rally had not been ''digested by the political opponents.'' This was the reason that the opponents were adding fuel to the fire to gain political mileage, she added.
