Govt should take measures to tackle terrorism: BJP

Hyderabad, Aug 28 (UNI) The BJP state unit delegation, led by party state President B Dattatraya, today submitted a memorandum to Governor N D Tiwari urging him to instruct the Andhra Pradesh government to take all necessary measures to tackle terrorism and to protect the lives of innocent people.

Demanding that the state government should strengthen the intelligence department, Mr Dattatraya said it should also issue multipurpose identity cards to all citizens and conduct periodic house to house raids through out the state.

He alleged that the government had failed to control the terrorist activities in the state, which caused the death of many people.
