Four Iranian students held on charge of attacking security man

Mysore, Aug 28 (UNI) Police has arrested four Iranian students including two girls studying at University of Mysore for allegedly attacking a security guard at a hotel in the city.

Police said the four students attacked the security man on duty last night for not allowing them to consume the liquor they had brought from outside at the hotel.

Following the complaint lodged by the hotel staff, the police arrested the students from their rooms at Siddartha Layout in the city.

Later they were produced before the JMFC court and released on a bail with a cash security of Rs 5000 today.

The arrested students are Mohamed Romi, Hussain Shaheen and the girl students are Faheeme Dawoodi and Azade Hemotholah Kareem, police said.
