'Arogya Sri' scheme in entire AP by 2008: Minister

Visakhapatnam, Aug 28 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Revenue Minister D Prasada Rao today said the 'Arogya Sri' Health Insurance Scheme, introduced in the coastal districts, would be implemented in the entire state by April 2008.

Speaking to reporters on his visit to various corporate hospitals and the Government King George Hospital in the city to assess the implementation of the scheme, he said the scheme would be extended to five other districts by this November.

Expressing satisfaction over the working of the scheme, he said it would benefit the poor and the marginalised.
