Another soldier commit suicide in Kashmir, no affect of Yoga
Srinagar, Aug 28 (UNI) Despite introduction of yoga and Art of Living to help security forces cope with stress, one more jawan commited suicide in the Kashmir valley.
A police spokesman said a CRPF constable Digvijay Singh commited suicide by shooting himself with his service weapon in a camp set up in State Motor Garage here.
He said it was not immediately known why the jawan took the extreme step. But, he said a case under section 174 of CrPC has been registered and an investigation started.
More than two dozen security force personnel, including soldiers from the Army, have commited suicide in the Kashmir valley during the past six months despite introducing yoga and Art of Living.
About a dozen other security personnel were killed by their colleagues during the same period.
