2 women going to tie rakhi killed in mishaps

Ballia, Aug 28 (UNI) Two women died in separate road accidents here today.

Police said Lalita (40) of Ibrahimabad village was going to her brother's place on the occasion of Rakhi along with her son Chandan on a motorcycle.

However, a truck hit them and she died on the spot.

In another incident, Shalini Upadhyay (20) was going to her elder brother's place along with her other brother Sanjay on a motorcycle.

Near Piparghat, a truck hit them, killing Shalini instantly.

Sanjay sustained grievous injuries.
