Youth to hang for minor's rape-murder

Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, Aug 27 (UNI) A district court today sentenced a youth to death and a Rs 5,000 fine for kidnapping, raping and murdering a 11-year-old.

Special Judge Mahendra Rathore awarded the punishment to Tulsiram (21) for targeting Geeta who was kidnapped from Menhdi village on December 19, 2006.

Co-accused Vishwanath alias Popat (15) is being tried in a juvenile court.
