Up Guv, CM greets people on Raksha Bandhan

Lucknow, Aug 27 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Governor T V Rajeswar and Chief Minister Mayawati have greeted the people of the state on the occassion of Raksha Bandhan.

In his greeting message, the Governor said the ''Festival of Raksha Bandhan not only strengthens the social fabric but it is also a joyous occassion for the contribution of our national integeration.'' Meanwhile, Ms Mayawati noted the festival indicates harmony and national unity, therefore, it should be celebrated with great fervour.
