Punjab Chemicals to acquire Pegevo Beheer

New Delhi, Aug 27 (UNI) Punjab Chemicals and Crop Protection Ltd today said it will acquire 100 per cent stake in Pegevo Beheer BV, through its wholly owned subsidiary SD Agchem (Europe) NV, for an enterprise value of about 39.5 million Euro.

''The purpose of investment is strategic,'' it said in a statement.

Pegevo, a Netherland-based firm undertakes substance formulation for crop protection. Its product range includes herbicides, insecticides and fungicides.
