Nagpur police, checks buses coming from Hyderabad on high alrt,
Nagpur, Aug 27 (UNI) All incomimg buses from Hyderabad are being checked in the city in view of Saturday's twin blasts in the Andhra Pradesh capital, police said today.
Joint Commissioner of Police B J Kangale told UNI that police were carrying out random checks of luggage and identity of passengers on board buses reaching here from Hyderabad as a measure of precaution. The checks began yesterday and were likely to continue over the next few days, he said.
A strict vigil was being maintained at all sensitive points in the city and security beefed up after the blasts in Hyderabad, Mr Kangale said.
He further said after reports appeared in a section of the media that the explosives used in Hyderabad had come from Amin Explosives of Nagpur, the police had yesterday searched five places of the company as a matter of precaution.
The locations included a shop, office, factory and the warehouse of the company and residence of the owner, Sohail Amin, he added.
