Hooda sends greetings for Raksha Bandhan
Chandigarh, Aug 27 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has greeted the people especially the women of the State on the eve of Raksha Bandhan.
In a message issued here today, the Chief Minister said that the festival of Raksha Bandhan is a symbol of love and affection between brother and sister. It would strengthen the social fabrics of the society, he added.
The Chief Minister said that Haryana Government had decided to provide free travelling facility to women in state roadways buses on Raksha Bhandan day.
Children upto 15 years would also be allowed to travel free on Raksha Bandhan. A similar concession was given last year too, Mr Hooda said.
