Arrested youths were to offer 'namaz' at disputed site

Ayodhya, Aug 27 (UNI) Four people, who were arrested yesterday from here on suspicion, today revealed that they were going to offer 'namaz' at the disputed site.

Police Superintendent (city) Gopesh Nath Khanna said four motorcycle-borne youth, hailing from Maidagin area of Varanasi city, were nabbed near Rangmahal Barrier during checking.

On interrogation they disclosed their intenion of offering namaz at the site.

However, no objectionable material was recovered from them.

Police is cross-examinig the information provided by them.
