President condoles death of Brahma Kumaris' chief

New Delhi, Aug 26 (UNI) President Pratibha Devisingh Patil has condoled the passing away of Dadi Prakash Maniji, the chief of Brahma Kumaris.

In a condolence message, Ms Patil said Dadi Prakash Maniji was one of the leading lights of this unique organisation and was always interested in ensuring that the thrust of knowledge imparted should enable wisdom for constant peace, happiness and excellence in life.

''She will be remembered for her distinct contribution to the welfare of society '' said Ms Patil.
