Kolkata, Aug 26 (UNI) With a month deadline ahead, the Left parties will withdraw their outside support if the UPA government pushes through the Indo-US nuke deal ignoring the voice of dissent, CPI(M) politburo member M K Pandhe said here today.

''We shall withdraw support to the government if it proceeds further with the deal. Our party will review the government's stand and take a decision at it's next politburo meeting on September 27-28 and the subsequent central committee meeting from September 29 to October 1,'' he told reporters here.

Mr Pandhe, who is also the CITU president, was here to address a convention of five central trade unions in the coal sector.

He said the Left parties would launch a nationwide campaign to make the people aware of the implications of the nuke deal, which would 'endanger' the country's sovereign foreign policy.

''We shall prepare grounds for our action through this one month by launching a massive campaign across the country, including several other basic issues,'' he said.

Replying to a question, he denied that there were any differences within the party over withdrawal of support and said the decision was unanimous.

''There was only a query from our West Bengal Congress as to how will we make the common man understand the technical word relative to the nuclear pact. But we shall make it understand in other ways,'' he said.
