Lalu cancels 'Bhajan evening' after Hyderabad blasts

Sarnath, Varanasi, Aug 25 (UNI) Railway Minister Lalu Prasad cancelled a special 'Bhajan evening' at RJD's sixth national convention here this evening after coming to know of killer twin blasts in the Andhra Pradesh capital.

''Just when we had finished with the special Mushaiara at the Purvanchal Nagar convention venue, the news of Hyderabad twin blasts arrived. Laluji immediately cancelled the next programme, the much sought Bhajan evening by seasoned Bhojpuri singer Bharat Sharma,'' convention's media convenor A K Rai told UNI.

Following Laluji's directive, the entire cultural evening was winded up, Mr Rai added.
