Govt to give aid for Documentary films on historical events

Puducherry, Aug 26 (UNI) Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy today reiterated that the administration would provide all assistance to those, who come forward to make documentary films on historical events of the Union Territory.

Inaugurating a documentary made on poet Kamban here, the chief minister said Kamba Ramayana explains how a man should lead his life.

Documantaries like this would help the poor and the illiterates to understand more about Kamban, he said and lauded the service of the Kamban Kazhagam in spreading the glory of the poet as well as highlighting some good Tamil.
