DuPont through DoP to sell tear-and-water proof envelopes for Rakhi

New Delhi, Aug 26 (UNI) Riding high on their last year's success, the Department of Post (DoP) for the second consecutive time has tied up with US-based multinational company DuPont to sell tear-and-water proof Rakhi envelopes.

The envelopes will be sold through select post offices here at five rupee each, a company statement said.

''We are delighted that once again India Post has selected our envelopes to secure and protect the Rakhi,'' DuPont Nonwovens Asia Pacific sales Leader H P Nanda said.

The envelopes are made of non-woven, a unique non woven product with qualities like water-and tear-resistance, soft and smooth texture for printability, environment-friendly and light-weight.

It offers total security and protection to the contents enclosed, the statement said.
