UPA government at the centre to fall soon: Yashwant Sinha
Jamshedpur, Aug 25 (UNI) Claiming that Manmonhan Signh-led UPA government would soon fall in the Centre, BJP national vice-president Yashwant Sinha today said the Lok Sabha poll in Jamshedpur should be considered as the 15th Lok Sabha election.
Talking to reporters here, Mr Sinha predicted that the differences between the Congress and the Left parties over the nuclear deal with the US would trigger the fall of the UPA government at the centre.
The former Union Finance minister said the nuke issue had paralysed the Centre and it was not in a position to take any major decision.
''Only time is the factor but the collapse of the UPA governmnt is certain owing to internal contradictions with the alliances.'' Mr Sinha asserted.
He claimed that the NDA-supported BJP candidate Dinesh Sarangi would win the bypoll as the party had consolidated its position by identifying the factors of defeat in the previous election and the mistakes would not be repeated this time.
''The BJP will go all out to win this seat,'' he said.
Mr Sinha said the people were disgruntled with the 'misrule' of the UPA government and they wanted to see the the NDA back to power.
He said the star campaigner Shatrughan Sinha's visit in favour of the BJP candidate also boost the morale of the party activists.
To a question about the revolt of the BJP leader Shailendra Mahto for being denied the ticket and his anti-party stance, Mr Sinha said the state unit of the BJP would look into the matter.
