Sibu says he is not in race for ministerial berth at Centre

Dumka, Aug 25 (UNI) Former Coal Minister Shibu Soren today ruled out any immediate attempt to return to the Manmohan Singh-led UPA government at the Centre.

However, if the UPA's central leadership approached him, he would consider the offer, he added.

''For the past 40 years, I have been fighting for the state and it was my dream to see its prosperity,'' he said.

A city court in New Delhi, on November 28 last year, had held Shibu Soren guilty of the murder of his personal assistant, prompting Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to seek his resignation from the Union Cabinet.
