Punjab to run city bus service in 3 cities

Chandigarh, Aug 25: The Punjab government will introduce City Bus Service in Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Amritsar from November 1.

Local Bodies Minister Manoranjan Kalia talking to newspersons here yesterday said, the bus service would be on the pattern of Indore with ultra modern facilities like electronic ticketing machines and GRPS system to inform about the time of arrival of each bus.
