Bhopal, Aug 25 (UNI) Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh has urged Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to come clean over purchase of vehicles made in his wife's name.

In a letter to Mr Chouhan, Mr Singh asked whether he and his wife Sadhna Singh are income tax payers.

The copies of the letter, written yesterday were released to media here today.

Agreeing with Mr Chouhan's statement that everybody had the right to earn his livelihood, Mr Singh wanted to know the reason behind Mr Chouhan not providing the address of his village or CM's residence while purchasing trucks in his wife's name.

He alleged that when former Union Minister Prahlad Patel wanted information about the trucks, it disappeared from the website of the Transport Department. This raised several doubts, he noted.

Likewise, Ms Sadhna Singh's husband's name was mentioned as Mr S R Singh instead of Mr Shivraj Singh Chouhan. He asked the reason behind selling these trucks immediately.

The Congress leader said no problem would arise if Mr Chouhan placed details of his movable and immovable property on the floor of the House.

Mr Singh said these questions must be answered. Besides, details of movable and immovable property of all ministers should also placed on the floor of the House.
