Dadiji Prakashmani of Bramhakumari passes away

Palanpur, Gujarat, Aug 25 (UNI) Eminent monk of Bramhakumari sect Dadiji Prakashmani (87) died at Shantiwan at Abu today.

She was brought here from Ahmedabad, where she was admitted to a private hospital following ill health.

Dadiji was associated with the Bramhakumari movement since 14 years of her age. Under her leadership, the Brahmakumari movement gathered momentum, with millions of the followers throughout the world joining the spiritual organisation.

A large number of the leaders, including President of India Pratibha Patel and several Central and state ministers from all over the country, are likely to attend the funeral scheduled on Monday.
