BSNL Men and Women enter IIB championship finals

Bangalore, Aug 25 (UNI) Holders Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) men and women entered the finals in the team events of the IX Inter Institutional Badminton Championship hosted by Canara Bank which began here today.

In the semifinals BSNL men thrashed Life Insurance Corporation 3-1, while Banks Sports Board (BSB) defeated Comptroller of Audit General (CAG) 3-1.

In the woman's section BSNL got a walk over against Defence Academy Sports Control Board (DACSB), while LIC defeated BSB 2-0.

In the Men's singles that begins tomorrow, K Tanishk of BSNL is given the top billing.
