Vijaykanth titles new film as "Arasaangam"

Chennai, Aug 24 (UNI) After overcoming various hurdles, actor-turned politician Vijaykanth has christened his 150th film as Arasaangam (Government).

Talking to reporters after distributing various welfare schemes on the occasion of his birthday which falls tomorrow, he said the shooting would commence next week and the film would be released on Pongal day, the festival of harvest on January 14.

Talking about his movie, he said the film would be produced by his own Captain's Cine Creations and it would be a police subject.

The film would be shot widely in Canada and US and Niagara falls.

''Initially there was a lot of confusion. We fixed one name, and some other actor had a similar name for his film. After lot of deliberations we finally kept it as Arasaangam. We thought of keeping the title as Sarkar. But it being a north Indian word, somebody might create trouble, he added.
