Relief from warm, humid weather continues in Delhi

New Delhi, Aug 24 (UNI) Cool Westerly winds today continued to bring relief from hot and humid weather in Delhi for the third day in succession.

Though it was another day of bright sunlit sky, with the mercury rising slightly to 35.2 degrees Celsius, the Westerlies provided respite from the hot and humid weather of earlier this week.

The maximum temperature of 35.2 degrees was one degree above normal, weathermen said.

The bright sunlight in the morning, however, resulted in a rise in minimum temperature to 28.4 degree C, two degrees above normal.

The met office has forecast a partly cloudy sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours with light rains or thundershowers in some areas.
