Oriental Insurance presents Rs 100cr dividend to FM
New Delhi, Aug 24 (UNI) Oriental Insurance, a public sector non-life insurance company today declared a 100 per cent dividend for 2006-2007 and presented a Rs 100 crore cheque to the Government.
Chairman and Managing Director of the company M Ramadoss presented a cheque of Rs 100 crore to the Finance Minister P Chidambaram here, a company statement said.
The Directors and Financial Advisor of the company were also pesent at the occasion.
The company has made a profit of Rs 629.64 crore during 2006-07 as compared to an overall profit of Rs 334.19 crore during the previous year.
