Jamshedpur, Aug 24 (UNI) BJP's star campaigner and actor turned politician Shatrughan Sinha today said the result of Jamshedpur Lok Sabha by-poll would mark the beginning of a new political equation.

Addressing an election rally in favour of BJP candidate Dinesh Sarangi here this evening, Mr Sinha came down heavily on the Madhu Koda led UPA government in Jharkhand for allegedly indulging in corruption.

He blamed the Congress and the RJD for lending support to the Koda government and said, ''They are the real culprits'' Mr Sinha also criticised Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for not taking any action against the Koda government. He termed Mr Singh as a 'puppet PM', who was working at the behest of Sonia Gandhi.

He also criticised the Centre for price hike of essential commodities.''Whenever the Congress comes to power the price of the essential commodities rises,'' Mr Sinha said.

Senior BJP leader and the former external affairs minister Yashwant Sinha flayed the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre for signing the nuclear deal with the US and said the government had surrendered before the Bush administration.

He also termed the Madhu Koda government as inefficient and said, ''It's not Koda government but Kuda (Rubbish) government''.
