New Delhi, Aug 24 (UNI) Delhi High Court today denied underworld don Babloo Srivastava's compensation demand of Rs 100 crores for alleged loss of his youth.

Babloo known for running crime syndicates across many countries, moved the court to check 'abuse' of his extradition. He submitted before the court that he had been tried in other cases not mentioned in the treaty extraditing him to India from Singapore in 1995.

Most of the offences had been committed before his extradition.

''Such trials are without jurisdiction and misuse of the extradition.''It meant loss of youth in the prison, the petition said.

Babloo prayed for compensation of Rs 100 crores against violation of his rights.

Opposing the petition, the counsel for the state argued that the petition should be dismissed.

Justice S N Dhingra held the petition as speculative relief and dismissed it. Hearing the pray for compensation, the judge said the petition had been moved before the wrong court.

Babloo has been sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of businessman Lalit Suneja who was allegedly murdered by the don and two of his accomplices in 1992.

While Om Prakash Srivastava alias Babloo Srivastava and N Shah were convicted, third accused Manjit was let off in the case for lack of evidence.
