Goan handicraft emporium opened in New Delhi
Panaji, Aug 24(UNI) AICC secretary Shantaram Naik, MP, today inaugurated Goa's first handicrafts emporium ''Aparant'' at Rajiv Gandhi Kala Bhavan complex on Baba Kharak Singh Marg in New Delhi.
Showcasing a rainbow of Goan handicrafts including terracota, brassware and coconut and sea shell crafts, ''Aparant'' will also market Goan cashew nuts which carry a peculiar flavour of their own, according to officials here.
The emporium provides an opportunity to Goan artisans to exhibit their talent and products.
