Death toll rose to 11 in Yesterday's accident

Gulbarga, Aug 24(UNI) The death toll in the yesterday's road accident that occurred near Shahapur in the district was rose to 11 as two more pilgrims were succumbed to their injuries in the hospital today.

Police said that two more pilgrims, who were admitted with serious injuries into the hospital, were died today taking the toll of the accident to 11.

In the yesterday's gruesome incident seven pilgrims belonging to Jolkot village in Tulajapur taluk of Osmanabad district of Maharashtra were killed and another 7 were sustained serious injuries. All the ill-fated pilgrims were returning to their homes after visiting Tirupathi.

Still three persons, who were admitted into hospital, were battling for their life. Condition of one of them was stated to be critical, the sources added.
