Congress demands constitution of all party relief committee

Patna, Aug 24 (UNI) The Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) today asked Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for constituting an all party relief committee to ensure that the flood victims get relief material without any discrimination.

BPCC president Sadanand Singh said here today that the Chief Minister should cosntitute an party relief committee after holding an all party meeting over the flood situation.

He alleged that Mr Kumar was indulging in blame game to divert attention of the people from his failure in the relief operation.

He said the Centre sanctioned additional financial assistance of Rs 222 crore for flood relief.

Mr Kumar had miserably failed in providing relief materials to the flood victims and in order to save himself he was trying to put the blame at the Union government, he also alleged.
