Chief Minister to lay foundation stone for Vidhana Soudha on Aug 26

Belgaum, Aug 24 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy will be laying a foundation stone for construction of the proposed Suvarna Vidhan Soudha here on 26, District Incharge Minister Shashikant Naik here today.

Speaking to newsmen here, he said that the new building, to be constructed at a cost of Rs 230 Crores, would come on 50 acres of land. The State government has sanctioned Rs 70 initially for the purpose.

He said that the Winter Session of the Legislature would be held in Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College.
