2500 drug-capsules recovered from Jalandhar jail

Jalandhar, Aug 24: Police has recovered a huge cache of drug capsules from the Central jail premises here.

SHO Mohinder Singh of Divison number two said nearly 2500 drug capsules were recovered from the Central jail premises yesterday along with a bottle of a liquor which was found abondoned near the outer wall of the jail, probably thrown inside by an outsider, the SHO added.

Police has initiated an enquiry into the matter, he said.
