16 IAS, 14 PCS officers transfered in Punjab

Chandigarh, Aug 24 (UNI) In a major administrative reshuffle, the Punjab Government today ordered transfers and postings of 16 IAS and 14 PCS officers in the state.

Mr R N Gupta, Financial Commissioner Forest and Wildlife, has been posted as Financial Commissioner, Appeals, relieving Mr R P S Pawar of this additional charge.

Dr Swaran Singh, Commissioner Jalandhar Division, goes as Principal Secretary, Public Grievances and Pensions, relieving Mr R P S Pawar of this additional charge.

Dr Roshan Sunkaria, Managing Director, PSIEC, has been transfered and posted as Secretary, Forests and Wildlife.

Mr S S Rajput, Secretary, Personnel and General Administration, has been given the additional charge of Managing Director of PSIEC.

Punjab Agro Industries Corporation Additional Managing Director K S Saroj has been appointed as Director, MGSIPAP, vice Mr R L Kapoor who goes as Secretary Home Affairs and Justice against a vacant post.

Sangrur Deputy commissioner S R Ladhar has been appointed as Commissioner, Jalandhar Division, vice Dr Swarn Singh. Mr Karam Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Taran Taran, becomes Special Secretary, Home and Justice against a vacant post.

Mr Samir Kumar, Special Secretary, Irrigation, has been transferred and posted as Director, Local Government, relieving Mr Anurag Verma of this additional charge.

Mr R L Mehta, Additional Registrar, Cooperative Societies, becomes Deputy Commissioner of Barnala vice Mr V K Ohri.

Mr Dilip Kumar, Special Secretary, Irrigation, has been posted as special secretary health and family welfare and Project Director, National Rural Health Mission.

Mr Manjit Singh, Special Secretary, Social Security and Development of Women and Children, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Defence services Welfare.

Mr V K Ohri, Barnala Deputy Commissioner, has been posted as Deputy commissioner Sangrur while Mr Ajoy Sharma, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Dev), SAS Nagar, goes as Deputy commissioner of Taran Tarn .

The Services of Additional Deputy Commissioner (Dev) Hoshiarpur, Mr Kamal Kishor Yadav, have been placed at the disposal of Department of Housing and Urban Development for appointment as Chief ministrator Bathinda Development Authority.

Zira Sub Divisional Magistrate Diprava Lakra goes to Dhuri in the same capacity against a vacant post.
