Woman found dead in mysterious circumstances

Dharamshala, Aug 23 (UNI) A 36-year-old house wife Bala Kumari was found dead in mysterious circumstances in Dadri village of Kangra district in Himachal Pradesh.

Her body was recovered from a water tank in the village this morning, police said here today.

Kangra district Additional Police Chief Prem Lal said her husband Sat pal told the police that Bala Kumari was mentally unstable and had left her home last mid-night.

The villagers detected her sleepers on the bank of a water tank and her body was recovered from tank, he said.

The body was sent for the postmortem and investigation under section 174 of IPC was in progress.
