Two students of St George school injured in scuffle

New Delhi, Aug 22 (UNI) Two students of a public school in South Delhi's Alaknanda area were injured when they clashed with local residents in Sangam Vihar area this afternoon.

The students of St Georege School namely Gagan Chowdhary and Rahul got seriuosly injured after they fought with about ten boys at a red light in Sangam Vihar at about 0300 hrs, according to sources.

The fight began after the ruffians allegedly passed lewd comments at the girls in the school. This led to heated exchange of words between the boys in the bus and local residents who were about ten in number.

Gagan was injured seriously and has been admitted to the ICU of a hospital.

The school bus had about 50 students.

A case has been registered in Sangam Vihar police station and search is on for the culprits, police said.
