Southerlies maintain relief from warm, humid weather

New Delhi, Aug 23 (UNI) Pleasant weather conditions continued in Delhi today for the second continuous day even though the mercury rose slightly to 35.0 Degree Celsius.

Though, after yesterday's overcast conditions, the Sun emerged clear and bright in the sky today, Southerly winds continued to bring some respite from hot and humid conditions of early this week.

An overcast sky and cool Easterly winds blowing across the air in Delhi yesterday brought some relief to people from the hot and humid weather of the last few days. The maximum dropped to 34.9 Degree Celsius.

The pleasant weather conditions are likely to persist for another day or two with the weathermen forecasting some rainfall in Delhi and other parts of Northwest India during the next few days.

The Met office have forecast a partly cloudy sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours with likelihood of one or two spells of rain and thundershowers in some areas.
