Protestors take to streets against killing of youths

Imphal, Aug 23 (UNI) Protestors today agitated in front of the chief minister's residence demanding punishment of those responsible for the death of two youths at Ithai Wapokpiin Manipur's Bishenpur district by armed miscreants yesterday.

Police said the armed men shot the two persons point blank in front of their house. The deceased have been identified as Oinam Binodkumar and Oinam Subash.

Police have managed to stop protestors, comprising mostly women from Keishampat, from entering through the gates of Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh's residence.

Police have said that enquiry into the incident was on.
