Police seeks custody of Subjail inmate

Dharwad, Aug 23 (UNI) Police here today filed an appeal in a local court seeking custody of Sub-jail inmate and rowdy element Hebbatta Manja following recovery of live bullets and cash from him during a raid on the jail recently.

The appeal was filed before thef Judicial Magistrate First Class seeking the custody of Hebbata Manaja hailing from Shimoga and lodged in the sub jail here.

Police conducted another raid in the subjail today and recovered three mobile phones from jail inmates.
