Hooda warns of strict action against corruption

Chandigarh, Aug 23 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said strict action would be taken against those who would indulge in taking and giving bribes.

''Transparent and responsive administration would be provided to the people of the state and strict action would be taken against those who would indulge in taking and giving bribes,'' he stated this while addressing Congress workers of Elenabaad and Rori constituencies.

The Chief Minister said due regards would be given to the party workers in the state as they were the backbone of the party. He assured them that their feelings would be taken into accounts while taking various decisions.

Mr Hooda said as no Congress MLA had been elected from both constituencies, the people could come to him directly for the redressel of their grievances.

He stressed the need for setting up of big industries in the Sirsa district for solving the problem of unemployment.

He warned the officers that strict action would be taken against those who would not give due regard and weightage to the Congress party workers.
