Bank of Rajasthan Officers Association threaten indefinite strike

Jaipur, Aug 23 (UNI) All India Bank of Rajasthan Officers Association has threatened an indefinite strike if their 25 point charter of demands were not met.

Secretary of the Association Brijmohan Bahoti while addressing a press conference here today said the 1920 regular officers of the bank are on the path of agitation against the recalcitrant attitude of the management towards their demands.

He alleged that the bank management is following a policy of discrimination against the regular officers and officers appointed on contract basis and demanded the stoppage of the contract appointment in the bank.

He also alleged that the bank officers who opted for VRS were being reappointed in the bank with hefty salary in violation of rules. Their demands include the implementation of the issues agreed upon at the Goa joint negotiations, stoppage of the violation of the transfer guide lines, officers representation at the board of directors among other things.
