2 Gujarat Cong MLAs issued notices for moving closer to BJP

Ahmedabad, Aug 23 (UNI) Gujarat Pradesh Congress yesterday issued notices to two of its MLAs for attending a meeting of Chief Minister Narendra Modi in South Gujarat on Tuesday.

The two MLAs are Manish Gilitwala of Surat and Shankar Varli of Umargam.

The political circles are speculating that besides Gilitwala and Varli, two other Congress MLAs Nima Acharya from Anjar (Kutch) and Pabubha Manek of Dwarka may also join BJP.

According to GPCC sources both the MLAs have been given seven days time to reply to the notice.

Manek is an Independent who supported Congress in the Legislative Assembly while Acharya has been suspended from the Congress for indiscipline.
