Sebi prohibits D-Link from buying and selling for a month
Mumbai, Aug 22 (UNI) Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has directed Messers D-Link India Ltd not to sell or deal in securities, in any manner, directly or indirectly for a period of one month.
The Sebi whole time director T.C.Nair, in a order passed on August 21, has observed that the company issued misleading information regarding buy-back of shares without any intention to implement the same.
The Sebi has initiated action agains tht company for violating provisions of regulation 5(1)(a) of SEBI (Prohibition of Fraudulent and Unfair Trade Practices relating to Securities Market) Regulations, 1995, the order said.
