KSCA to introduce Internet booking of cricket match tickets

Bangalore, Aug 22 (UNI) Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) will introduce Internet booking of tickets for cricket matches to help lovers of the game to book their tickets well in advance and avoid standing in queues for hours.

Talking to newspersons here today, KSCA Secretary Brijesh Patel said that DNA Crickinfo had been entrusted with the task and the facility would be ready before Australia-India ODI to be held at M Chinnaswamy stadium here on September 29.

He said that since KSCA was also a venue for the World Cup to be hosted jointly by India, Pakistan and Bangladesh next year, the introduction of Internet booking would help the cricket fans.
